Where translation is unspecified, presume the Nicæne & Post-Nicæne Fathers series.

All works of St. Dionysius the Areopagite translated by John Parker.

Greek

Where translation is unspecified, I generally reccomend the Loeb Library where others—or at any rate good—aren’t available. Reccomendations prioritize: 1. Being based. on majority text types, i.e. non-critical; and 2. Use archaic, or older, language, which is less demeaned. Considered also, of course, is the character of the translator.

For the Alexander “Romance”, the text-type most widely recieved by the Romans was the β-type MSS.

All works of Homer translated bt Alexander Pope.

All works of Plato translated by Benjamin Jowett.
